Pony camps and children's riding holidays are a great way for kids to learn to ride horses. Cher-a-Don Mkulu Kei Horse trails is a working trail riding establishment and stud. We have always opened our home to our young riding clients during the holidays and now ready to open to the public. The camp is a personilised home from home experience, small groups are accommodated at our home while larger groups are held at the Cher-a-Don (Lalapanzi) Teambuilding Adventure Centre.
On Monday the kids arrive or can be fetched from East London with little or no equestrian experience; depart on Sunday afternoon feeling confident in the saddle and on the ground around horses. On Sunday we have a braai with the parents and the kids can show their parents their riding skills, in a mini show.
