We Are Using Horses To Help Change Lives Having the mares running at Cher-a-Don (Lalapanzi) Adventure Centre we thought we would offer an introduction to horses as an alternative team building activity. The results where outstanding. We realized that the horses and interacting with horses has the potential to be of great value to our camps especially with the troubled kids and problem adolescents. Horse/human interaction in an environment of fun learning and self discovery and personal development.

Photos Of Our Development Project A community development program aimed at imparting horse riding skills to under-privileged black local youth in the Eastern Cape township of Morgan Bay on the Wild Coast South Africa. It is a poverty-stricken community and Mkulu Kei Horse Trails wanted to give back to the area and started our youth development project 10 years ago. The aim is not only to teach the less privileged kids how to ride horses, but to help encourage the children to see and work with animals in a more humane way.
